Currently one of my favourite digital pieces, this is my attempt at executing a specific art style that was shown on a poster advertising the kdrama 'W - Two Worlds Apart'. My initial goal was to draw a new character in this specific style, however I decided to draw the character in the poster in the first few minutes of sketching as it was much easier to reference those features. The kdrama 'W - Two Worlds Apart' presents the idea of two worlds colliding, both reality and the webtoon world. This poster is supposed to be a portrayal of how the webtoon would look as a physical copy and I thought the art style was very fitting as it's both semi realistic with thick black outlines which show the digital comic side of the main character Kang Chul (who is from the webtoon world and the person on this poster).

Dolly, created on the 6th November, is a character of mine who is a spirit that possesses the body of a doll (thus leading to her name). Her colour palette is mostly red and white however it can stretch towards a dark muted pink to match her eyes. I first had the idea to create her design in an app called Moonscloset as I was still unsure of what her aesthetic would be. After reaching her first design concept I decided to sketch her headshot and see if I could properly execute it in my own style (plus the shading style of the 'W : New Style' piece as I liked that shading technique).

Ariella is a

The yet to be named fallen angel character of mine was based on illustrations of biblically accurate angels (featuring Richard the cat drawn very generously by a friend of mine around 19 seconds into the timelapse). These angels are depicted in many ways such as being interlocking gold rings with the exterior covered in eyes, others having 6 wings that cover their face and feet and angels that are animal-human hybrids (these depictions and descriptions are based on the different ranks of the angels, looking more like a human when the rank is lower). The reason I chose to base this characters design on biblically accurate angels is because she was initially a high rank angel and soul breather that failed to make a stable set of humans therefore she perished in the society she created by being trapped in the body of a human. Her design shows her initial rank and divinity but her actions and motives counteract her original purpose.
